Home from 4 absolutely fabulous days at the beach with almost all of my family- Gage was the only one we didn't see :(. Fun , Swimming, Boogie boarding- YES I did it too, well sort of.- if there was a big enough wave- sunning , chilling, crabbing in the little pond next door. OH yes we went down to the crab pier and the biggest thing caught was Amy caught a SNAKE and then Aric almost caught the SAME snake- so we were done with the pier- the kids and Rachel went on Treasure hunts each night at the beach. Flash lights in hand - mostly searching the sky- why not sure but treasure could have been there right?- kids came back with mussels, curly shells and a few scary tales- Kylie had a crab walk across her foot and made Faith cry- why Faith, when it crawled over Kylie I'm not sure but it happened. Kylie was not too happy also. The girls found 2 skim boards and were SO excited till they tried to do that and then they decided they would be wall souveniers. Then last night we were all in different places just kinda doing our own thing- Faith and I watching INCREDIBLES in the house- cuz we love that movie- Rachel on the deck reading - Kylie and Christian out treasure seeking again. when Rachel comes screaming in the house- seriously screaming and screaming at us for NOT hearing her scream on the deck- well apparently she was just reading when a raccoon came up to her- like 2 foot away and - JEZZ it was an ugly scene- Rachel screaming cuz we didn't hear her- I'm thinking that was a good thing I didn't need to see that raccoon- then I'm sure the raccoon will be in therapy for AWHILE also. so all in all everyone went their own way- so all is good. OH yeah that started Faith crying AGAIN. not sure why she was crying this time either but she did. :)
We had such a wonderful time - family time is almost always a blessing and we were very blessed with this trip. so much thanks for the opportunity given .
