Red 's good!

Folks - Proud to report that red does wash and certainly does dry better and faster- YEA for me.

Had a good week-end nothing going on that was a crisis so we just kind of did some stuff and didn't so more stuff.

Sorry Robin that you were so busy and I thought about coming to help but was afraid if I drove down there - it would rain and screw up everything so I helped you out by NOT coming :)) = pretty clever huh?

OK Christian drive to school tomorrow and the rest of us go to work or first grade.

Amy and Aric are good they are Fifth and 6th graders and then Gage is the senior

Some out some IN

WEll today I am geting a new "RED washer and Dryer" had to have a new set and I decided on those front loading ones with the pedestal so we will see. I've got 30 days to decide if the Red makes them clean better :)

Christian starts driving to school on Monday- Rachel and one of her old school pals traded cars for their girls- Chris wanted an automatic and the other girls seriously wanted a standard - the cars were pretty much identical except for that so - everyone seems happy now- we will see. Chris got new tires and brakes and the other girl got a wash job .

They was all gone to a friends house who is on a timeshare at Piney Shores in Conroe. bye bye = have a lovely time with out me :::::)))))))))

I DID NOT win the lottery Friday night and that was a HUGE disappointment. but no one in Texas did either-s o all my working buddies will be right back there with me on Monday.

Survived the first and second day of school

We all have survived the first and second day of school- even the little girl in Faith's class that hid under her desk and cried all day- This was NOT her first year of school. Poor teacher! even Faith said she got a headache from the little girl crying so loud. It did go better the second day- and I am so sure the teacher is VERY happy about that! Plus Faith got a happy sticker in conduct which is always a touchy subject. but 2 days and we are still good so happy day.

Wii had a great time

Hi there! Wii are champs at different sports! Rachel is champ of Bowling - Christian of Archery and Faith of Boxing. I am gonna get to play , I just know it just not sure when!! WE had a nice visit today at my sister's house- My Nephew came in from Florida for his birthday and we had a nice family get together complete with pool party- she has a beautiful backyard pool and everyone came and we had a great time as our last day before school starts. There are three first graders all excited about going back to school and NOT being in Kindergarten anymore- seems that is like a rite of passage. Christian and Gage will be seniors this year - not sure how my grand kids got so old but they did.!

Speaking of Gage- his band- Red October Sky will be playing in Humble this coming week-end and I am going to go listen to him scream- that is the kind of band that he has- one of those kind where he screams- so I will go - let him see me and listen to one song of screaming and then I can say I have heard his band play. That should be worth points right?

WE had another great day of rain and that is a plus.

OK off to help get everyone ready for that first day and then I get to leave early in the morning and let Rachel deal with the chaos.

Wii have come of age

Yes that is right the Harris household has finally joined the 21st century with a Wii. Kids can put it together in nothing flat and tomorrow , MAYBE i'll get to play. It was funny to watch Faith play golf and baseball. but she KO'd Christian in Boxing! and beat her at tennis- but not sure how but they had fun and I hope to get the Wii Sports resort game and then I can play maybe- I think I will like the bowling the best ,we will see.

Faith had meet the First Grade teacher this evening. WE have been trying to tell her that First grade is VERY SERIOUS and you can not be so busy and must pay attention more and not Talk AS much. Well I think it would not be much fun to be a first grade teacher for the first few weeks. LORD and the secrets they must learn about the parents. mercy!!


Ok off to bed and then work so I can come home and play the Wii- surely it will be my turn by tomorrow afternoon.

MZ FAITH PLAYING BEAUTY PAGEANT

NOTHING PLANNED woo hoo

This week-end we actually have NOTHING planned! No family to go visit, no school stuff to go get, NOTHING and we seem to be doing it well- We all spent most of the day in the pool and I watched some of the Nationwide NASCAR race but Carl Edwards (MY MAN) got in a wreck on the 3rd lap and he was done. Kyle Busch DID NOT win so it was a good race! Today the Big Dogs race but I tape it if we are out having fun- We watched the Texans 1st preseason game and they looked pretty good. The back up quarterback Lo------?? not sure how to spell that one yet but he looked REAL good. and the new Chris Brown was looking good also but I could talk football or NASCAR all day so I will hush. Hopefully another day of not much going on. Next week-end my Nephew from Florida, SCOTT, is coming in so that means BIG Family thing- which is good we have actually not gotten together since Father's Day and that is a long time for our bunch! It will be a crazy work week, my co-worker is still in California so our very busy 2 person office is gonna be crasy with just me.
