Changes for Christian

Was just reading some of my older posts and realized needed to update Christian's status. She returned from the Coast Guard - with That was not the right thing for her and now she is attending Lone Star College to get back into the college groove, which is where she realized she should have been headed. She has reacquainted with a long time friend Amanda and it is a blessing they are together at school

Hello remember me?

WELL so much has happened since I last updated my blog but mostly the reason it wasn't updated is because I forgot my password and my email changed. CRS BIG TIME!

Anyway it is almost May and things are chaotic at the Harris household!!!Christian will turn 18, have Prom, award ceremonies and graduate. Then she has joined the Coast Guard and will go off to boot camp on June 15th. There is gonna be some severe separation anxiety at our house very soon. Faith has no concept of how long 8 weeks is - so she thinks Sissy will be gone just a couple of days. I hope Rachel is ready for some serious bonding time with her 7 year old :)))

Christian decided to join the Coast Guard and get her chosen field paid for by them. She has chosen to become a Marine Biologist and they have Marine Bio tech training thru the CG and then if she so chooses she will have 4 years of college paid for by Uncle Sam. Scary that you can be that smart at 17.

Faith made all "A" honor roll - Thank goodness conduct is not part of that- she honestly can talk to the walls somedays and apparently has and gotten in trouble for it. She is a natural born chatterbox.

I don't get to see the other grandkids so I wish I could update you on them - but they are loved nonetheless. OH Gage chose not to graduate from high school this year as the teachers are too dumb and school is boring..so someday there will be a lesson learned from this but ...not right now

Sunday - getting ready for the beach

Hi It is Sunday 4 days before the Beach and Faith has 2 bags packed! You'd think we were going on a week trip. no just apparently much stuff for a six year old to take- Needless to say we are all excited about going but she is OVER THE TOP!. Faith got her hair cut yesterday - at least 6 inches. I am sad but all of the rest are happy as it will eliminate about 1 hour of screaming and crying while trying to brush out Lord knows what from her hair- I think the unexplained substance this week is glue but hair is gone so hopefully life will be better. Gage had his first band gig last night and they were so excited. NOT my type of music but apparently there are those that will listen to much screaming and noise making. The band made $75.00 so woo hoo to first money and today they were making a CD of said screaming/:) I guess that is how the Rolling Stones got started..hopefully.

Ok need to go- got three days of work this week and I need to try and cram 5 days into those 3, so nite to all .God Bless
